How To Create Your Own eBook And Then Market It

Ebooks can serve a lot of purposes for people online. Even for offline business owners it can serve major purposes. And since they're free to create and easy to make... it really isn't any reason why you shouldn't be earning sales from this kind of product. It's incredibly easy to sell, but I suppose you have to take the baby steps first.

So let me ask you... do you even know how to create an ebook? Well, it's one of the most simplest things to do online. When you're creating your ebook, you have to include all of the "information" that you said your prospect will receive when they purchase your ebook. Typically this will come from your bullet points.

When it comes to the length of your ebook, don't focus exclusively on "quantity". Instead, strive to focus on quality. I've seen 20 page ebooks that were incredibly better than $200 courses that I have bought. It's something that you don't need to obsess over... but just keep it in mind.

When you do make your first ebook (or your next ebook - depending on your experience), make it easy on yourself. Don't become Hercules and try to tackle a 100+ page ebook. Start small first, but just remember to make it good. This is what people are paying for. Nobody likes a sub par product - and I know you don't like it either. So make it good.

To make your ebook, simply start off by writing out the contents of it in Microsoft Word. After you have finished it, simply visit a site called "pdfonline" to have it converted into PDF format (the standard format for ebooks... provided by Adobe Acrobat Reader). Then once you have your ebook in PDF format, you're ready to start marketing it.

But I forget something... you shouldn't just go and create an ebook and try to sell it to somebody. You have to find the niche FIRST, and then create an ebook that will fulfill the needs/wants of the market. So don't create the product first... find the starving niche first, then supply. It's a basic principle of supply and demand. And just because you're selling ebooks... it doesn't make a difference.

Now there are all kinds of ways to market your ebook. You will definitely want to create your own website and promote it on there. I understand that there are other venues that you can sell your ebook on. For example, a few sites that you could sell your ebook on that has interested prospects already there are:

- Amazon Kindle

- Sony Smashwords

- Tradebit

- eJunkie

- Payloadz

- And more

But you will face a lot of competition on these sites. People will try and compete in a price war... with prices for ebooks at around $1. This is nonsense.

This is why you want to sell your ebook on your own site, so that you can dramatically scale up the price of it. Make it unique and special in your niche, and you will be able to make it happen, and make it a success.

Good luck with marketing your ebook today.
